The 2025 Ocean Conference of Youth (OCOY) is a free, one-day event uniting youth ages 15–35 from across B.C. and beyond to explore the theme “Ocean Protection & Challenges.” Through keynotes and panel discussions, participants will engage with 15+ leading experts in international ocean policy, Indigenous ocean stewardship, ocean monitoring technologies, and biodiversity, from organizations such as OceanWise, UBC, University of Waterloo, Troutlake Charitable Trust, and more. We strive to empower Canadian youths with the knowledge, tools, and connections necessary to make an impact on ocean protection, turn ideas into action. Ultimately, we want to foster natural intelligence and social responsibility through the meaningful keynotes, panels, and discussions.
